Valentines Day Off

Brand: Reddi-wip

We all need more love. So, Reddi-wip decided to petition the White House to make February 14 a U.S. holiday

How was this brought to life?

By merging 3 dimensional real objects in film with a real-time 3D rendering Reddi-wip.

After enlisting Production partners Tool and the animation house Lubulo, the team went to work building two separate experiences that would be brought together. First, Tool built a mobile-first web experience that included the ability for a person to draw their signature and share a rendered and exported gif of the drawing. The signature then was sent via API to the White House’s petition site.

Separately, in the production facility and film studio of Lubulo, real objects were created from paper, shot, and stitched into a highly creative and unique film. Together the three teams, rose above the challenges of new types of graphic rendering (whip cream is a not easy to reproduce), the server capabilities needed to handle this type of rendering for UGC content, and teams in 4 different timezones.
